Alexis Sanchez is believed to have signed a £500,000-a-week contract when he moved to Manchester United from Arsenal during the January transfer window.
Sanchez has however struggled to make his mark for the Red Devils – scoring just once in all competitions.
The Chilean International insisted that he thrives operating under pressure, and has spoken of the great honour that comes with being the highest-paid player in Premier League history.
“The pressure doesn’t play against me, it helps me. The more pressure I’m under, the better I feel,” Sanchez told Chilean TV. “I feel like an important player at world level. Being the best-paid in the Premier League fills me with pride at being Chilean.”
